A collection of scrapped forklifts was scattered across an Ohio interstate on Tuesday after a semi truck experienced a load shift.
The accident happened on Tuesday, March 11th in Elyria, Ohio.
According to The Chronicle, the semi truck was hauling scrapped forklifts when it took a right turn from State Route 57 onto the Interstate 90 eastbound ramp. During the turn, the load shifted, causing the tractor trailer to overturn.
The truck driver, Aaron Drayton-Ali, was cited for a load shift, but was unhurt in the incident. Crews that responded to the scene say it was a difficult cleanup.
“It was a painstakingly slow process to get done and to get the trailer upright,” said Fire Chief Joe Pronesti.
Cleanup of the incident took about three and a half hours.
