A small trucking company says they will be forced to fire one of their drivers if the rig he operates for them is not found after a theft late last month.

The theft occurred on February 24th at the trucking company owner’s family farm in Caledonia, Michigan.

The stolen Peterbilt semi truck has an American flag wrap with a buffalo on each side. The trailer was not stolen.

“That’s what that driver makes his living with and supports his family,” said company and truck owner Blake Jordan, owner of Jordan Intercoastal, explaining why he may be forced to fire the trucker.

“We don’t have the means to replace that truck if it doesn’t come back, so then, you know, he’s gonna have to find a different job,” he said to 13 ABC.

The theft has been reported to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office. Jordan is offering up to $5,000 for information leading to the return of the stolen semi truck. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.
