A serious wreck left a car crushed beneath a semi truck near Phoenix on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened on March 5th just after 8 a.m. on the eastbound side of Loop 202 Red Mountain near McClintock Drive in Tempe, Arizona.
According to AZ Family, a semi truck and three passenger vehicles were involved in the multi vehicle crash that left four people injured.
Two people sustained life threatening injuries and two more were seriously hurt. The car crushed beneath the semi truck appears to have had its roof cut off to free the occupants. Another car was seen pulled over to the shoulder with damage to its rear end.
All but the HOV lane was closed for cleanup and investigation of the incident. The cause of the crash near Phoenix has not been determined.
