A landmark Tucson truck stop that has served the trucking community for decades is now up for sale, according to a report.

The Tucson Truck Terminal, or the Triple T Truck stop located off I-10 in Tucson, Arizona, is currently looking for buyers, according to KVOA. The hope is to locate buyers who can prioritize property maintenance and maintain the spirit of the historic truck stop for many years to come.

The Tucson Truck Terminal was founded in 1954 by Ira T and Sallie Sue Morris at 5451 E. Benson Hwy. The truck stop moved to its current location off I-10 at Exit 268 in 1966 following completion of the construction of the interstate.

The truck stop was notably featured in 1975’s classic trucking movie ‘White Line Fever.’

The truck stop is now known for the Hi-Way Chef Restaurant, which was named by the Food Network as the #2 best truck stop in the U.S.

Beyond the restaurant, the truck stop also offers parking, shopping, fueling, a bar, motel rooms, a repair shop, showers, and a truck wash.

The Tucson Truck Terminal was open to serve the trucking community 24 hours a day for over 70 years.
