This week, the Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) shared dash cam video to praise a trucker’s attentiveness in preventing a crash.
The video was shared by Georgia DPS on July 12, 2023.
In the quick clip captured at night, you can see that the dash cammer in the left lane sees another truck broken down just ahead. With a semi truck in right lane and no room to move over, the dash cammer is still able to bring his truck to a safe stop.
“We’re giving another shout-out to an alert CMV driver. If this driver was driving distracted, this could have ended real bad. Great job!” Georgia DPS said.
