A historic truck stop in Colorado caught fire on Sunday morning. 

The incident occurred on Sunday, March 2nd in Adams County, Colorado at about 4 a.m. 

According to Fox 31, the South Adams County Fire Department responded to the now-abandoned Deno’s 6 and 85 Restaurant and Lounge on reports of heavy flames. 

Firefighters battled the blaze at the historic truck stop opened in 1947. No one was inside of the building and no one was hurt in the incident. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. The truck stop closed in 2017.
