On Monday, officials reported recovering the remains of a person inside the tanker truck involved in a fire that resulted in the collapse of a major interstate in Philadelphia.
On Sunday around 6:20 a.m., a truck driver hauling 8,500 gallons of gasoline north on I-95 in Philadelphia lost control on an exit ramp.
The truck struck a wall and overturned, resulting in a massive fire that caused severe structural damage to the overpass, resulting in a partial collapse of I-95. The tanker truck was buried in the rubble under the overpass.
Officials said that the body of a person was discovered in the wreckage of the tanker truck on Monday, but the identity of the person has not yet been confirmed.

6abc Action News reports that tanker truck driver Nathaniel Moody was the driver involved the crash and that he is unaccounted for.
Repairs to make I-95 drivable again are expected to take “months,” according to Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.
The National Transportation Safety Board is expected to begin an investigation into the incident on Monday.
