A truck driver was cited following a load shift and lumber spill in Hillsborough County, Florida, on Thursday.
The incident occurred around 7:20 a.m. on July 16 on I-75 near Apollo Beach, Florida.
The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said that a 31-year-old truck driver hauling a load of lumber braked suddenly due to traffic, causing the lumber to crash forward into the cab of the truck and to spill off the trailer onto the roadway.
Images shared by FHP show the lumber piercing the semi truck’s windshield.

No other vehicles were involved.

No injuries were reported.
FHP said that the truck driver was cited for a load securement violation.
