A custom truck shop shared baffling video of an engine being purposefully dropped on the hood of a 379 Peterbilt.

The video was shared on Thursday by One Of A Kind Customs, a shop located in Sigourney, Iowa, with the caption, “Detroit engine swap complete for this 379!”

In less than 24 hours, the video was viewed more than 350,000 times.

“Every man felt that in their heart within a 3500 mile radius,” said one commenter.

“When the customers credit declines for a engine swap lol,” another person joked.

“Why! That Pete was beautiful!!” lamented another commenter.

While the video left many social media commenters confused, this appears to be part of a larger custom build project that may show at MATS in 2023.
