A trucker describes this impatient motorist as having a “death wish” in this short dash cam video.
In the clip, a trucker in New Zealand is leaving New Plymouth when a four wheeler traveling behind him decides it would be better to risk his life than hang out behind a semi truck.
The four wheeler decides to overtake the truck on a curve, and successfully passes the truck while nearly colliding head-on with an oncoming car. In the video, it looks like the passing car misses the oncoming four wheeler by no more than a foot.
“Risk my life or drive behind the truck. Risk my life!” commented one viewer.
“No way,” added another.
