The Washington State Patrol (WSP) shared a trucker’s dash cam video as a reminder to the motoring public of the dangers of ice on the roadway.
The video was captured on March 6 on eastbound I-90 at mile marker 49.
In the dash cam clip, you can see a black car traveling in the far left lane of I-90 while a white car approaches in the next lane over. The black car driver appears to lose control on an icy patch, veering toward the left shoulder and then back right, striking the white car. Both vehicles crash off the road on right side of the interstate. The trucker/dashcammer immediately pulls off on the right shoulder to provide assistance.
“Please remember there can still be ice in places. There were injuries but everyone should be fine,” said WSP Trooper Rick Johnson.
