NASHVILLE — Dragonfly Energy said its new Battle Born DualFlow Power Pack offers fleets an all-electric method of supplying energy for trucks’ everyday hotel loads.
Dragonfly Chief Commercial Officer Wade Seaburg during a March 9 press event at the 2025 Technology & Maintenance Council Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition noted that the DualFlow Power Pack is designed to help extend the battery life for trucks’ starter batteries by allowing the DualFlow system to power accessories like bunk heaters and air conditioning. The company’s charge control technology charges the battery while the truck is traveling down the road, helping ensure a full charge is available when the driver stops for a break. The system is targeted at heavy-duty fleets and owner-operators in the longhaul segment.
DRAGONFLY CEO: The US Needs Lithium Independence
“As the longhaul segment looks for practical ways to incorporate electric power, we see the DualFlow Power Pack as a form of hybrid electrification that delivers real savings and efficiency that just makes good business sense,” Seaburg said. “We believe this system helps them cut fuel costs, extend battery life and reduce emissions without overhauling their existing infrastructure — making life on the road easier while driving real sustainability.”

“When we enter a market, we start with education, and we come at it with the heart of a teacher,” Seaburg said, noting that while DragonFly is new to trucking, its system is in use with several large fleets, and the company is working to add partnerships this year. Seaburg said, “This focus on safety and education drives everything we do. We’re solving energy storage challenges and industries such as heavy-duty trucking, where full electrification is a hot topic. But it’s a tough reality. We’re in the messy middle, and this is where we thrive.
“We’re really proud of what Dragonfly Energy stands for — practical innovation that works today, built on U.S. manufacturing and American technology. Especially in these times that we’re going through right now, it’s a reminder of how great we can be right here at home.”
