The Arcadia Police Department (APD) shared dramatic video of a train vs. semi truck crash that occurred on Thursday.

The crash took place on the morning of April 3, 2025, at Hazel and Railroad Ave. in Arcadia, Louisiana.

APD said that the railroad company was notified of a stuck truck at the railroad crossing, but the train wasn’t able to stop in time to avoid a collision.

The truck driver was able to exit the cab before the train hit, and no injuries were reported.

The truck was extensively damaged in the crash.
