A tractor trailer was completely obliterated after careening down a notorious mountain road in Alabama on Monday. 

The accident happened at the intersection of Wallace Avenue and 5th Street Northeast – the bottom of a notorious mountain road in Fort Payne, Alabama, on Monday, April 7th.

According to News19, the semi truck crashed near ‘Joe’s Truck Stop,’ a wall built by a homeowner attempting to protect his property from frequent truck crashes in the area back in 1959.

Motorists are urged to avoid the area as crews work to clear the wreckage. 

No information on injuries has been released.
