A motorist was caught on video doing a series of intentional donuts that led to a crash with a semi truck on a freeway in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon. 

The incident occurred just after 4 p.m. on the eastbound side of the 10 Freeway in Baldwin Park near Los Angeles, California on April 9th. 

According to KTLA 5, The motorist was on the 10 Freeway when he just started doing intentional donuts in his 2021 BMW 750 across all lanes of traffic. The stunt caused all traffic to stop as the BMW skidded into the concrete barrier and struck a semi truck that pulled over. 

Police quickly responded to the scene and arrested the motorist without incident. The California Highway Patrol has determined that drugs were a contributing factor in the crash. The incident was caught on video by witnesses.

“It was pretty bad. I think the guy was having a nervous breakdown or mental crisis or something,” one witness said to ABC 7.
