Sheetz Inc. announced plans to hire truck drivers at a hiring event in the Northern Ohio area this week. 

Sheetz announced its plans to hire CDL-A drivers in the Findlay, Ohio area on April 14th. The company will host a hiring event on Tuesday, April 15th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the corner of  5900 Township Road 230 and County Road 212. 

According to The Courier, the hiring event is being held at the location of the future $169 million, 511,704 square foot Sheetz food preparation and distribution facility. The facility is scheduled to open in 2026, and is expected to bring 700 jobs to the area over the next five years. Sheetz says it has immediate plans to hire 20 truck drivers in the Findlay area, and expects to hire even more truckers by the end of the summer season. 

Truckers looking to participate in Tuesday’s hiring event are encouraged to apply for the local position online, prior to the event. Drivers who have not applied online are still welcome to attend the hiring event.

“Preferred candidates are individuals ages 23 years or older with a minimum of two years of verifiable tractor trailer experience and at least 130,000 miles driven,” Sheetz stated. “In addition to on-the-spot interviews, event attendees will learn more about Sheetz’s commitment to providing CDL-A truck drivers sustainable careers built on an inspiring culture.”
