A load of spilled plastic pipes led to a pile up crash involving six vehicles that caused a brush fire in West Virginia on Thursday.
The accident happened just after midnight very early on Thursday morning, April 17th on the West Virginia Turnpike in Fayette County, West Virginia.
According to Fox 11, a tractor trailer was traveling north on the West Virginia Turnpike near the 66 mile marker when it overturned, spilling its load of plastic pipes across the roadway. Two southbound semi trucks then crashed into the plastic pipes, causing another wreck that soon caught fire. The fire then spread to nearby brush, and three more cars became involved in the wreckage.

No one was hurt in the accident, but the southbound side of the Turnpike remained closed until about 4 p.m. that afternoon. The accident is still under investigation. No further information has been released.
