Ahead of the year’s biggest commercial vehicle inspection blitz, several law enforcement agencies are taking to social media with examples of equipment violations truckers should try to avoid through pre-trip inspections and proper maintenance.

This year’s Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) International Roadcheck inspection effort is scheduled for May 13 — 15 throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Inspectors will be paying special attention to two areas of emphasis during Roadcheck 2025 — tires and false records of duty status.

As Roadcheck approaches, many commercial vehicle enforcement units are sharing examples of the types of equipment violations that could spell trouble during the big blitz.
