The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) placed a box truck and a driver out-of-service for numerous safety violations.

On May 6, THP took to social media to detail a recent traffic stop in Humphreys County.

“A Trooper with the THP’s Motor Carrier Plus Unit stopped a box truck in Humphreys County with a missing roof, shifting sides, and fiberglass debris breaking off from the truck onto the roadway. The driver did not have a medical certificate, and the vehicle had cracked rails and missing roof supports. The California based carrier was intrastate-only, which means it isn’t permitted to be driven outside of California. The driver and vehicle were placed out-of-service,” THP said.

Troopers shared photos of the equipment violations uncovered on the box truck.
