A truck driver will spend up to four years in prison for a road rage shooting involving another truck driver on the Ohio Turnpike.
The road rage incident happened in July 2024 on the Ohio Turnpike near the Interstate 76 interchange near Austintown, Ohio. The 28-year-old truck driver, Curtis Brooks, of Dallas, Georgia, was sentenced on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
According to WKBN 27, Brooks was driving a Kenworth when he fired shots at another truck driver in another semi truck. No one was hurt in the incident, but Brooks was charged with felonious assault, tampering with evidence and discharging a firearm upon a highway.
