This week, Illinois State Police (ISP) weighed thousands of trucks during a 72 hour commercial vehicle enforcement effort.

ISP troopers conducted a “Commercial Vehicle Safety Detail” June 23 through 25, 2025, at a fixed scale located in Montgomery County.

“Officers successfully enforced state and federal motor carrier safety regulations by conducting North American Standard Inspections, checking for driver impairment, and educating drivers on the importance of safe commercial motor vehicle operations,” ISP Troop 8 said.
