The same trucking school semi truck was stolen twice from a Dallas parking lot within one month, the school owner says.

Big Klass CDL School in southern Dallas, Texas seeks to help people better their lives through earning a CDL. The school serves veterans, formerly incarcerated individuals, and even people facing homelessness. But in recent months, the school has faced several thefts that have set the business back.

Kyree and Carolina McClish run the school, and say that the first theft of one of their semi trucks happened on May 31st. The theft was filmed on the school’s security camera.

“I immediately called 911 and nobody responded until the next day,” Kyree McClish said to WFAA 8.

Dallas Police have since confirmed their next-day response, and say that the semi truck was found just a few weeks later. Then, on June 28th, thieves once again smashed the school’s security gate and stole the same semi truck.

“I was like, God, please don’t tell me this is gone again,” Kyree McClish said. “How did this happen again?”

They called the police again, but this time an officer never showed up.

“They never even came out,” Kyree McClish said. “They still haven’t come out.”

Police in Mesquite, Texas located the stolen semi truck on Tuesday, July 1st, but no arrests have been made.

“It’s very frustrating, especially when you are here as a small business trying to help the community to better lives,” Carolina McClish said.
