A family of five was sent to the hospital after a wreck with a semi truck in Detroit on Thursday.
The accident happened on May 25th at about 1 p.m. n Schaefer Road near the I-96 service drive in Detroit, Michigan.
According to Click on Detroit, the semi truck hauling wood pallets lost control, struck the car carrying the family of five, crashed into a fence, and landed on the I-96 embankment. The three adult and two child occupants of the car were all taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The truck driver was not hurt in the incident.
The truck leaked fuel as a result of the wreck, resulting in a cleanup effort from first responders.
The truck driver was given a breathalyzer test at the scene and passed. No further information has been released.
