A major multiple fatality crash was reported on Thursday in Manitoba, Canada.
The crash occurred on Highway 1 (Trans-Canada Highway) near Carberry, Manitoba.

The Winnepeg Free Press reports that a semi truck and a transit van collided on the Highway.
CTV News reports that at least 15 people have been killed in the crash.

Manitoba RMCP called the crash “very serious” and are asking drivers to avoid the area.
Highway 1 is closed in both directions and a “Code Orange” emergency has been declared for the mass casualty incident.
