A motorist was cited after causing a wreck with two tractor trailers in North Carolina on Thursday morning.

The accident happened on December 15th in Davidson County along Interstate 85.

The North Carolina Highway Patrol reports that the pickup truck was merging onto I-85 from NC 8 when it started to hydroplane. A semi truck attempted to avoid the out of control pickup and collided with another rig, sending that truck off the road and into a bridge pillar.

According to Fox 8, one of the truckers sustained minor injuries in the wreck, but no one was transported to the hospital. The bridge was not damaged, but two lanes of I-85 southbound were closed while the truck was towed away.

The pickup driver was cited for speeding.
