Police in Georgia uncovered multiple violations on a truck driven by an under-21 year old who was previously placed out of service for operating interstate.
In a June 16 social media post, the Georgia Department of Public Safety (DPS) detailed violations discovered by an officer during a CMV stop.
“Just an FYI, none of these items are allowed in a CMV. Also, not a good idea to be under 21 with these items and recently being placed out of service for driving a CMV in interstate commerce. SFC Bell (Region D) also discovered the trailer of the CMV had no brakes,” Georgia DPS said.
A photo accompanying the post shows an empty liquor bottle, several bottles of Coors Light, rolling papers, and objects that appear to be a baggie of marijuana and a radar detector.
Georgia DPS did not provide information on whether the CMV driver was arrested or cited for the various violations.
