French fries were left scattered across a Utah highway following an accident involving a tractor trailer on Sunday.

The accident happened on June 18th along Interstate 15 in Provo, Utah.

According to Fox 13 News, the semi truck was hauling a load of french fries when it struck a light pole on the side of the highway near 1460 North between Orem University Parkway and Provo Center Street exits. The force of the impact ripped open the truck’s trailer, scattering the load of fries along both sides of the freeway.

The mess forced crews to block off four southbound lanes and two northbound lanes. A skid loader was used to scoop up the fries and remove them from the roadway.

The truck driver sustained only minor injuries in the wreck. The cause of the wreck has not been released.
