A motorcyclist is seriously injured after being run over by a semi truck in reverse on Wednesday morning.
The accident happened in Bay County, Florida on Jolee Road west of US 231 on July 5th.
According to WJHG News, the motorcyclist was stopped behind the semi truck while it was backing up on Jolee Road. The driver could not see the rider and backed over the motorcycle, causing the rider to fall off.
The 70-year-old rider was taken to a Panama City hospital in serious condition. It is not clear if any citations will be issued in regard to the incident.
