One person is dead after attempting to cross a highway in a golf cart in South Carolina on Friday afternoon.
The incident happened on July 7th in Horry County, South Carolina.
According to Valley News Live, the driver of the golf cart was trying to drive east on Adrian Highway in order to cross Highway 19 when it was struck by an oncoming tractor trailer.
The golf cart driver, 47-year-old Jason Cook, died at the scene. The truck driver was not hurt in the incident. The roadway was closed for around three hours as authorities investigated the accident.
