Police in Albany, Georgia, say that a truck driver survived a crash involving two log trucks on Thursday morning.

The Albany Ga Police Department responded to the crash scene at 9:23 a.m. on July 20.

Police say that one log truck was stopped at a traffic light in the middle lane heading east on E. Oglethorpe Boulevard when it was rear ended by a second log truck.

The driver of the second log truck trapped inside the cab by logs from the first truck and required extrication by first responders.

The truck driver was transported to a nearby hospital with severe injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
