A wrecked semi truck left a load of lemons scattered along a highway in New Jersey on Wednesday morning. 

The accident happened on August 2nd in Mahwah, New Jersey on Route 17 near Mountainside Avenue at around 10 a.m.

According to North Jersey News, the semi truck was traveling in the northbound lanes of Route 17 when it lost control and crashed. The wreck dislodged the trailer from the truck and it broke open along the highway divider, leaving lemons scattered along the highway. The detached trailer also struck a car on the southbound side of the highway. 

No information on injuries sustained in the crash has been released. The cause of the wreck is unclear.
