A truck driver’s bad day was caught on traffic cameras.
The traffic camera video was shared by Midwest Safety on August 3 and has been viewed more than 8,000 times in less than 24 hours.
Many viewers speculated on what went wrong.
“You can see the turret rotate, that is what caused the trailer to unbalance and then tip. That then subsequently caused the boom to slide off the deck compounded by the lack of securing devices.Even with the lack of chains, the slew lock was the important missing factor,” one user pointed out.
“The magnetic deck doesn’t work with rubber tires,” another person quipped.
“I see an improperly secured load citation in his future!” said another viewer.
