Police are investigating the theft of a Peterbilt stolen from behind the Wagin Cajun Big D’s Truck Stop in Louisiana earlier this month. 

The theft occurred on March 8th at about 7:30 p.m. in Duson, Louisiana in the 400 block of Austria Road. 

According to KATC 3, the black and silver 2022 Peterbilt 589 was stolen out from behind the Wagin Cajun Big D’s Truck Stop. The thieves separated the truck from the trailer and one man drove it away while the other took off in a white Peterbilt 579 with “LNV” on the battery box. Both trucks were last seen traveling west on Interstate 10. 

One suspect was only described as a man wearing all black.  Anyone with information on the theft is urged to call the tips line at (337) 789-TIPS. Callers could receive up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
