Police in Colorado Springs responded to an incident involving a semi truck and a large landscaping boulder on Thursday.
Officers responded to a reported traffic collision at E. Fountain Blvd. and S. Weber St. in Colorado Springs, Colorado, around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025.
“The investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer scooped out an approximately 300-pound landscaping boulder. The vehicle continued driving, dragging the boulder north on Weber St. and west on Cimarron St. until it became dislodged near the interchange with I-25,” the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said in a blotter entry.
Police were able to locate and make contact with the truck driver.
No injuries or vehicle damage were reported.
“The landscape boulder was returned to its original location,” CSPD said.
