The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) released dash cam video from a work truck involved in a road rage incident in Mulberry, Florida, last week.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Friday, March 28.
Police say that as a work truck traveled north on State Road 37, it was brake checked by the driver of a white Mercedes Benz.
“As the two vehicles passed again, the driver pointed a handgun at the two men in the truck and yelled, “I am going to blow your brains out!” The Mercedes then sped away, but the incident was captured on the truck’s dash camera,” the PCSO said.
The incident was reported to police on April 1.
PCSO was able to identify the Mercedes driver as Camden Davis, 22.
“When the detective went to Davis’ Mulberry residence, Davis said that the truck cut him off, so he honked his horn at the driver. The detective showed Davis a still-shot photo taken from the dash cam video, which showed the suspect pointing a gun out of the window. Davis admitted that he was the armed man in the photo,” PCSO said.
Davis was arrested.
A black Taurus pistol was located in the residence.
Davis was charged with two-counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
