A trucking company is promising to make its 250 drivers a priority despite an abrupt decision to cease operations.
LTI Trucking Services is based out of Madison, Illinois just outside of St. Louis, Missouri and employed approximately 250 truck drivers. The company notified its drivers on Thursday, April 3rd through a fleet-wide message that it has ceased operations, but promised that they would make their drivers a priority as they work to complete their final loads.

“We have made the difficult decision to close LTI Trucking Services,” the message reads. “We have coordinated with the bank to work all drivers back to their house. We will not allow any driver to be stranded on the side of the roadway.”
“Those who would like to continue to work through the weekend into the first part of next week while looking for a new job, we will work with you to allow you to earn your paycheck while searching for a new company,” the message continues.
“We promise that you will get all funds you are due, and we have an additional stipend available for you once you return the tractor to the designated location near your residence.”
LTI Trucking Services was founded in 2002, and hauled mostly reefer trailers across the Midwest, Eastern, and Southern parts of the US.
