Three men are facing charges in connection with a widespread theft ring targeting commercial vehicles in several Florida counties.
On April 4, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) announced the arrest of three men believed to have taken part in the theft of multiple semi trucks and dump trucks valued at over $6 million.
For months, the HCSO’s Auto Theft Unit has investigated the commercial vehicle theft ring, and they say that the suspects are linked to thefts as far back as September 2024, taking place in Hillsborough, Polk, Hernando, Pasco, Sarasota, and Pinellas counties.
