An Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) trooper stopped a truck after a load of pallets shifted, causing a potentially dangerous situation.

On Tuesday, May 9, OHP Captain Brian Orr pulled over a truck in Lincoln County.

The truck’s load of pallets “shifted dangerously to the side,” OHP said.

OHP did not cite the truck driver but instead required that he park until the shifted pallets could be fixed.

Several Facebook users shared appreciation for the way that Captain Orr handled the situation.

“Thanks for not citing him for something that could be fixed. Seems like most don’t care what happens to your csa score for stuff so simple. Good trooper there. Respect,” a commenter said.

“Hats off to OHP it is very very very RARE that when we get pulled over we don’t get a ticket for SOMETHING,” another person said.

“He did the driver a solid not ticketing him for that load, also made a good call, could have ended horribly,” said another user.
