This video serves as a friendly reminder that every interaction with DOT doesn’t have to be terrible.
In the video, a driver pulls up to some sort of road block with multiple officers on his way to pick up his load.
“We’re required to do a monthly regulatory checkpoint,” the officer explains when the driver rolls down his window. The two then pass papers back and forth in a completely friendly, and apparently legal, exchange.
“You’re good to go!” the officer says pleasantly, before asking where the driver is heading to, seemingly out of curiosity. The officer then warns the trucker of some upcoming turns and sends him on his way.
