A load of cars was left lined up in a roadside ditch after a car hauler overturned on I-83 in Pennsylvania on Monday morning.

The accident happened on May 12th at about 4:20 a.m. on I-83 northbound between the Lewisberry and Fishing Creek Road exits in York County, Pennsylvania.

According to WGAL 8, the tractor trailer hauling cars veered off of I-83 and onto a grassy shoulder, where it overturned. The accident caused the load of cars to come off of the trailer. The cars were left lined up in a roadside ditch.

The accident caused a traffic backup, which caused another accident involving three cars. Only minor injuries were reported in both accidents.

Officials asked that drivers passing through the area use extra caution as crews worked to clear the wreckage.

No further information has been released.
