The La Porte County Sheriff’s Office (LPCSO) shared security video of a passing commercial vehicle losing wheels and causing damage to parked vehicles.

The video was captured on May 18 in the 9000 south block of US 35 in La Porte County, Indiana.

Police say that as a commercial vehicle was northbound, the “wheel assembly smashed through a fence before striking two parked vehicles in a driveway near the highway.”

The driver did not stop, and the truck continued traveling north.

“It is possible the driver was not aware at the time the wheel assembly had fallen off and created damage,” LPCSO said.
