The Nebraska State Patrol’s (NSP) Carrier Enforcement Division recently conducted a local commercial vehicle inspection campaign.

The inspection effort took place on Wednesday, May 21, in Lancaster County, Nebraska.

The operation targeted commercial vehicles that might not travel outside the city or pass-through weigh stations as part of their regular routes.

The Lancaster County inspections were conducted by the Metropolitan Aggressive and Prevention Selective (MAPS) Team, which is made up of NSP Carrier Enforcement Division troopers. The MAPS Team has been in operation since 1998 and is funded largely by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
