A truck driver is dead after getting run over by his own truck while disconnecting the trailer outside of a paint facility.
The accident happened on Tuesday, May 27th on Cleveland Street in Rochester, Pennsylvania outside of a Sherwin-Williams facility.
According to CBS News, the truck driver was outside of his rig while disconnecting from his trailer when the truck started to roll forward. As the driver tried to stop the truck, he was pulled under the wheels and killed. The trailer then rolled backwards, across a small street, and into a small truck parking lot.
Police say that an investigation revealed no issues with the truck braking system.
The 71-year-old truck driver has not been publicly identified.
