A lone log trailer was left blocking one lane of a two lane road in North Carolina on Monday night.

The incident happened at 4712 Old Stage Road in Riegelwood, North Carolina on May 26th.

According to WECT 6, Delco Riegelwood Fire Rescue was called after a mother and her children encountered the road block while driving along Old Stage Road. Emergency crews arrived to find a fully loaded lone log trailer sitting in the middle of one of the lanes of travel.

“Crews are currently on scene at 4712 Old Stage Road where a log trailer has come to a dramatic stop—without its truck,” Delco Riegelwood Fire Rescue wrote in a Facebook post.

“It appears we’ve got a trailer experiencing a full-blown breakup. The truck and trailer had a disagreement and decided to go their separate ways… but we’re hoping for a reunion soon,” the department joked.

The road has since reopened, but information on the truck driver or circumstances surrounding the incident has not been released.
