Minnesota Department of Transportation (MNDOT) traffic cameras captured the moment that a truck tipped while making a turn to enter a tunnel on Friday morning.

The crash occurred just before 11 a.m. on May 30 in the downtown Minneapolis area.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a truck traveling on I-94 tipped over as it took a curve approaching the Lowry Hill Tunnel.

The tipping truck struck a wall, causing the roof of the trailer to be sheared off.

The truck driver suffered non life-threatening injuries.

The truck was reportedly hauling ammunition.

According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, a person caught up in the traffic caused by the crash suffered a medical emergency and died.

The crash is under investigation.

The eastbound lanes of I-94 have since reopened. Westbound I-94 is expected to remain closed through 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon.
