A man was found hiding out in a semi truck sleeper berth parked outside of a business owned by a man he threatened online earlier this week.
The incident started when someone called police on June 11th to report someone making multiple threatening Facebook posts targeting people in Carlisle County, Kentucky.
According to WSILTV 3, the River Counties Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force began investigating the report, and identified the suspect as Joseph Cook out of Cunningham, Kentucky. Cook was known to have an active felony warrant out for his arrest for a previous incident, so police set out to find him.
Cook was eventually located hiding out in the sleeper berth of a semi truck parked at a business along KY 121 in Carlisle County. The business was owned by one of the people Cook had threatened on social media.
Police arrested Cook and transported him to the Ballard County Detention Center. He has been charged with six counts of third-degree terroristic threatening, and served his active felony arrest warrant. It is unclear if Cook is a truck driver, or just a disgruntled citizen.
