Nearly one and a half million dollars worth of brand new Nintendo Switch 2 consoles were stolen from the back of a semi truck heading to the Dallas area.

The truck driver discovered that the cargo had been stolen at around 8 a.m. on June 8th while conducting a pre-trip at the Love’s Truck Stop at 1191 S. 1st Street in Bennett, Colorado.

According to ABC 7, the truck driver was heading to a Gamestop store in Grapevine, Texas after picking up the load of 2,810 Nintendo Switch 2 consoles from the Nintendo offices in Redmond, Washington just outside of Seattle. The truck driver said he did not know what was inside of the trailer before it was stolen – only that it was some kind of game or toy.

The truck driver told officers that he was unsure if the multiple stolen pallets had been taken in Bennett or in some other city where he had stopped since picking up the load.

Anyone with information on the theft is asked to call the investigations tip line at 720-874-8477.
