A dashcam video recorded by a motorist shows the moment an electrical worker was knocked over by a passing semi truck while working in a bucket truck. 

The incident happened on Monday afternoon, June 23rd, in Massachusetts. 

In the video, a worker is suspended in a bucket while repairing a traffic light at an intersection in the right lane when a semi truck tries to pass the worksite. As it passes, the semi truck’s trailer strikes the bucket and knocks it over, causing the worker to be suspended in the air upside down, held by his harness. 

While not seen in the video, the harness reportedly broke before the man could be rescued, and the man suffered multiple broken bones. He is expected to recover. 

No information regarding possible charges against the truck driver has been released.
