A sixth person has died after a drowsy driving crash involving seven vehicles in Texas over the weekend.
The crash happened on Interstate 20 on Saturday afternoon, June 28th near Terrall, Texas. Five people were pronounced dead at the crash scene. On Monday, June 30th, the Texas Department of Public Safety announced the death of a sixth victim after the succumbed to their injuries at the hospital. The identities of the victims have not been released.

According to Dallas News, 27-year-old truck driver Alexis Osmani Gonzalez-Companioni collided with stalled traffic in what has been deemed a drowsy driving crash. Gonzalez-Companioni slammed into a Ford F-150, killing four people inside and severely injuring one. That person is the victim pronounced dead on Monday.
The Ford pickup was then pushed into two other semi trucks, one of which collided with a Jeep. One person in the Jeep was killed. A total of seven vehicles were involved.
Gonzalez-Companioni remains in custody at the Kaufman County jail for the drowsy driving crash. He is facing five counts of manslaughter and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. His bail has been set at $1.5 million.
